What InstantGPA is

InstantGPA provides a free workflow to review a limited transcript and estimate GPA and CGPA, based on grading-scale information you choose or enter yourself. Conversion and advanced academic-planning tools require Premium.

Guidance, not an official record

Every result is a calculation aid, not an official academic record. Grading scales vary between institutions, and country defaults offered in this app are a starting point only — always confirm your exact grading policy and your official GPA with your university's registrar or student portal.

Accounts and cloud processing

No account is required for the free workflow. Its approved structured academic profile and transcript are stored in D1 under a random browser installation key. A Firebase account and active paid entitlement are required for InstantGPA Premium, secure cloud OCR, saved Premium workspaces, and private adviser links; Premium academic data is stored in the subscriber's private Firebase path. A scanned document is sent to secure cloud OCR only after local reading fails and you consent.

Free and subscriber features

Academic setup, transcript review within the free page limit, GPA, and CGPA may be offered without charge. InstantGPA Premium features—including larger transcript imports, the live semester dashboard, syllabus analysis and cited questions, Academic Twin and Academic Undo scenarios, the official-source policy registry, transfer and credit comparison, academic terminology aid, document consistency review, saved Premium workspaces, notifications, and adviser links—require an active paid subscription. Reasonable technical limits may be applied to every tier to prevent abuse.

Decision probabilities, policies, translation, and credit conversion

Academic Undo probabilities are simulations based on the averages, uncertainty, cost, delay, and policy source entered or selected by the user; they are not predictions or guarantees. Policy entries link to official sources but may become outdated or be superseded by faculty, programme, catalog-year, scholarship, visa, or financial-aid rules. Terminology translation is not certified full-document translation. Credit-system comparisons do not award transfer credit or prove learning-outcome equivalence.

Owner-only institutional API beta

The institutional API is an Owner administration capability, not part of the student Premium subscription. API keys must be kept on trusted servers and must not be embedded in public browser or mobile code. The account holder is responsible for lawful authority to process every record and for reviewing all failed rows and estimated results.

Subscription access

Plan status is checked by the server against PayPal. InstantGPA does not collect or store full card or bank details. Access ends when PayPal reports the subscription as cancelled, suspended, expired, or otherwise inactive, or when the account is blocked for misuse.

Premium prices may vary by the approximate country code supplied by Cloudflare at the network edge. The applicable monthly and annual price is shown before account creation and PayPal approval. The server rejects checkout when the configured PayPal plan does not exactly match the displayed price, USD currency, and billing interval. If PayPal subscriptions are unavailable for a country, the free workflow remains available.

Acceptable use

Automated bulk requests are permitted only through the Owner-controlled institutional API and within assigned limits. Attempts to bypass usage protections, processing unrelated or unlawfully obtained documents, sharing API secrets, disruption of the service, or presenting estimated results as official university records are prohibited.

Changes

These terms may be updated as the product changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the current terms.
